On the cover: Daniel Radcliffe for Entertainment Weekly

Daniel Radcliffe takes the cover of the current issue of Entertainment Weekly, in anticipation of the November release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.

It's the beginning of the end for the film series, with the final chapter -- part 2 of Deathly Hallows -- already shot, and to be released in July.

The 21-year-old British actor tells the mag he's already missing Harry, after playing the boy wizard on film for the past decade.

"It's very rare that you get to burst through the surafce of water surrounded by a ring of fire," he says. "I took that for granted for quite some time."

But just because he's wrapped the last Harry Potter film, don't expect Mr. Radcliffe to sit still.

Next up he'll star in his first stage musical: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and costar in ghost film the Woman in Black.

"It's key for me to keep working," he says. "Focusing on other things rather than just moping around the house."
