Cast members past and present paid tribute to Degrassi at last night's Gemini Awards gala in Toronto, marking the 30th year of the Canadian teen show.
Original cast members Pat Mastroianni, Stacie Mistysyn, Stefan Brogen, and Amanda Stepto discussed the show's beginning in a taped piece.
Stars of the show's more recent incarnation including Nina Dobrev, Adamo Ruggiero, Lauren Collins, Cassie Steele, Miriam McDonald and Charlotte Arnold then took to the stage to read letters from fans who have been touched by the series.
Later in the evening, the show was also named Canada's favourite TV show of the past 25 years, as voted on by fans.
