2010 Gemini Award Winners

cast and crew of HBO Canada's 'Less Than Kind'

The final batch of Gemini Awards was handed out in Toronto last night, with HBO Canada series Less Than Kind taking three trophies including best comedy series.

The show, whose star Maury Chaykin passed away earlier this year, also took the awards for best comedy performance for Benjamin Arthur and best writing for a comedy.

Meanwhile, Canadian-Irish coproduction the Tudors took the award for best drama, and british crooner Elvis Costello won best talk series for for Spectacle: Elvis Costello With . . .

Olympic glory waged on, as Brian Williams took the award for best host in a sport program for his Vancouver 2010 coverage.

And, it appears the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television is still hung up on the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards, which took home best music or variety program.
