Two Gossip Girl stars who are usually so fashionably on-point stepped out in highly questionable outfits over the past week.
Left, Blake Lively wears a long denim top with sparkly sequined black skirt, and attempts to tie it together with a brown belt, as photographed at last week's Real Boutique opening in New York.
I wouldn't hate any of these items on their own. And I actually almost like the shirt and the skirt, if it the top didn't stick out the bottom.
Ms. Lively is her own stylist, and she normally knows how to make it werk. But this look is just scatterbrained.
Right, Leighton Meester steps out to last night's Nashville premiere of her new film Country Song. She's wearing a one-shoulder Marc Jacobs mesh gown, which I just don't quite understand.
Like, what's up with that gold coaster sticking out of her top?
Overall, not a completely offensive look. But I'd prefer if the black underlay went all the way to the ground, underneath the red part of her skirt.
