Days after announcing the release of her new album will be delayed until September, Kelly Clarkson debuted a new song at a charity event Saturday night.
The 28-year-old Texan performed a song called 'Why Don't You Try,' which is a cover of an Eric Hutchinson song, at Celebrity Fight Night, an event which raises funds for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.
Listen to that woman belt it out! This is definitely sounding a lot more soulful than her recent poppy album All I Ever Wanted.
Late last year we heard Kelly sing a new original song called new song called 'You Still Won't Know What It's Like.'
Do we really have to wait till September for a new album? Really?!
At least by every indication so far it will be worth the wait.
