Applegate, Arnett and Rudolph make for one promising NBC pilot

Pilot season is upon us friends, and with it comes exciting casting news of shows that may be picked up for next season.

And by my estimation, NBC's got one of the most stacked pilots talent-wise, with an unnamed sitcom starring Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph.

Executive produced by SNL's Lorne Michaels, the pilots looks at parenthood through the eyes of an acerbic working mother played by Applegate, and her stay-at-home husband played by just-cast Arnett.

Rudolph, meanwhile, will play Applegate’s coworker and bestie.

We're laughing already, right?

To be fair, this is television, so if it makes it to series the show could always go the way of Arnett's recent effort Running Wilde, which didn't make it to a full season.

But c'man, this amount of talent is promising.
