Adding a new cast member to an ensemble TV show is always a risky move, but as Modern Family heads to the end of its second successful season that's exactly what the ABC laugher is doing.
The name of the character who could completely change the chemistry of this top-notch ensemble: Bridgette.
"We're getting a French bulldog for me to hang out with," Rico Rodriguez, who plays Manny, tells TV Guide.
"She'll probably be in the last three episodes of the season and then in multiple episodes next year. She's a very good listener and has fit in very well."
Hm . . . okay. I'll take your word for it, Mr. Rodriguez. At least until Modern Family returns with new episodes and I can judge for myself.
