Alanis Morissette appeared on Chelsea Lately last night to promote the new season of Weeds, but talk quickly turned to the singer's recent marriage and just-announced pregnancy.
"Now you got married recently to a rapper, so it doesn't take long for them to impregnante women," host Chelsea Handler quipped.
"Yes, immediately actually," Alanis responded, after revealing her pregnancy was a little bit of a surprise.
Alanis also discussed being Canadian and the book she's writing, before Chelsea turned the conversation to Weeds by asking Morissette's stance on marijuana.
"I don't have a stance on it. I enoy it sometimes, not while I'm pregnant obviously," she laughed.
