2010 Emmys: The Looks

TV's finest talent walked the red carpet at last night's Emmy Awards in a variety of head-turning looks that sparkled, shone, and most of all impressed.

Funny ladies went glam, a Mad woman kept it classically elegant, and a Glee kid layered it with lace.

Click inside to get my take on the top five looks of the night!

5. Elisabeth Moss in Donna Karan
Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss looked expertly put together in this dove grey silk chiffon one-shoulder gown by Donna Karan. She completed the classically elegant look with some simple waves in her bob and neutral makeup. Jewels by Chopard.

4. Dianna Agron in Carolina Herrera
Glee's Dianna Agron is so naturally beautiful, I love that she never tries to overdo her hair, makeup or gown. Here she works a layered lace Carolina Herrera dress and simply elegant updo. And as lovely as the look is, I'm still most drawn to the actress' face. Her beauty is effortless. Diamonds by Cartier.

3. Claire Danes in Armani Prive
Gorgeous. Flawless. Absolutely beautiful. An Emmy winner for her role in Temple Grandin, Claire Danes shone in a glittery, sequined and crystal-embellished Armani Prive gown to match those sunny blonde locks of hers.

2. Jane Lynch in Ali Rahimi
She may wear nothing but tracksuits for her Emmy-winning role on Glee, but give her the chance and Jane Lynch will go glam on you! Lynch donned a purple asymmetrical gown by Ali Rahimi, and it was a winner! The colour and fit are perfection, only outshone by the star's enthusiasm at last night's event. Clutch by Swarovski.

1. Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta
No joke: 30 Rock's Tina Fey werked this silver satin gown with black beaded embellishments by Oscar de la Renta. Just look at her show off that hourglass! The long ponytail with side-swept bangs adds just the right amount of glam and sleekness. Jewels by Lorraine Schwartz.
