The 25-year-old British actress will next be seen in the film adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go, and recently won the role of Daisy Buchanan in a remake of the Great Gatsby.
"I'm not trying to sell myself as a visual. I'm selling my willingness to play a part really well," Mulligan tells the mag. "If your body doesn't look normal, how can you convey normal people, how can you be relatable?"
If only more actresses had such a mentality towards appearance!
