The 25-year-old British actress donned Chanel for the cover shot, which was captured by Peter Lindbergh.
Mulligan's got a busy month ahead of her with two movies to promote: Never Let Me Go, costarring Keira Knightley, opening September 15; and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, costarring Shia LaBeouf, opening September 24.
