Jesus H. Christ, Rob Lowe shirtless on the cover of Vanity Fair May 2011 was quite possibly the best sight to wake up to this morning.
The 47-year-old actor (47!), who currently costars on Parks & Recreation, offers the magazine excerpts from his upcoming autobiography Stories I Only Tell My Friends.
That includes his musings about former costars and colleagues including Charlie Sheen, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze and Matt Dillon.
Despite the fine specimen we're staring at right now, Lowe reveals to the magazine he wasn't getting much action from the ladies pre-fame. “The cool girls in Malibu had no time for me,” he says. “I wasn’t a beach volleyball player, a surfer, or a quasi-burnout.”
That changed fairly quickly, as Lowe the actor went on to be romantically linked to Demi Moore, Nastassja Kinski, and Princess Stéphanie who, Lowe remembers “with a fair amount of residual pride,” had a poster of him on her wall.
