Canadian comedian Jon Dore has landed the lead in NBC comedy pilot My Life As An Experiment.
You may remember Ottawa-born Dore serving as Ben Mulroney's wacky correspondent for a couple seasons of Canadian Idol. For two seasons he also had his own show on The Comedy Network, and most recently was the first stand-up comic to appear on Conan O'Brien's TBS talk show.
My Life will see Dore star as a magazine immersion journalist who explores unique experiences. Criminal Minds' Paget Brewster has been cast to play his feisty and adorable lawyer wife.
