Since award season ended with the Oscars, I haven't been terribly blown away by the red carpet style I've come across.
That is, until Michelle Trachtenberg totally impressed me at the 2011 School of American Ballet Winter Ball in New York City on Monday.
The 25-year-old occasional Gossip Girl star looked classically gorgeous in a pale grey silk chiffon Marchesa gown, featuring embroidered detailing around the bodice that really adds a lot. The dress fits to perfection, and her hair and makeup really work well without being distracting.
Michelle finished off the look with David Yurman jewels and and a Marchesa clutch.
Even Blair and Serena would have to admit to loving this look on Georgina.
