Golden Globes Fashion: Hits!

There was no lack of variety on last night's Golden Globes red carpet!

From bold reds and greens to understated nude gowns, Hollywood did its best to dazzle when it came to fashion.

My top five picks of the night include a Modern Family bombshell, a Gossip Girl gone subdued, and Hollywood's biggest actress who dared to wear something other than black!

1. Angelina Jolie in Versace Atelier
Angelina Jolie didn't wear black! In fact, she wore a dazzling green Versace Atelier gown covered in Swarofski crystals. The long-sleeved, high-collared dress draped beautifully, while Angelina kept her hair and makeup soft and simple to show off her beauty.

2. Dianna Agron in J. Mendel
Dianna Agron is always one of my fashion faves, as she's so effortlessly beautiful she can really work some classic styles. Such was the case last night, when the Glee star channeled old Hollywood in a strapless nude J. Mendel gown, and Kathy Waterman jewels. The hair and makeup make for such a well put together look that accentuates her beauty without being overly flashy.

3. Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang
Modern Family's Sofia Vergara brought the bombshell in this bright red Vera Wang number that hugs her curves in all the right places. When you look like Vergara you know what works, and this number in particular was a showstopper.

4. Mila Kunis in Vera Wang
Mila Kunis was a fan favourite when I asked for input from my Twitter followers. The Black Swan star, who normally opts for shorter edgier pieces, went for classic glamour in this outstanding one-shouldered Vera Wang gown. Green was a popular colour on last night's red carpet, but Mila certainly managed to stand out!

Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum
5. Some called Leighton Meester's look matronly, but I actually loved it. Her Burberry Prorsum gown was simple and understated, accented with a gold metal clutch, soft hair and makeup. It was another win for the chameleon-like Leighton Meester, who's one of the most versatile young actresses when it comes to fashion.
