For most people it's probably pretty easy to write off the Gemini Awards by claiming Canadian TV is crap and that an awards show dedicated to it is unnecessary.
But if you take a look at the list of nominees for its viewers' choice Favourite Canadian TV Show award, there's got to be at least a couple shows you have a soft spot for.
Mr. Dressup? Degrassi? Due South? Being Erica?
It's the Geminis' 25th year, and as such the awards show is asking Canadians to vote for their fave Canadian TV show from the past 25 years. The list has been narrowed down by TV critics from across the country.
