My favourite Canadian Idol, and most frequently-spotted Degrassi cast member are costarring in a stage production of Beauty & the Beast this holiday season.
Yes that's right. Melissa O'Neil and Jake Epstein will take the stage in Ross Petty's production of the fairy tale, subtitled The Savagely Silly Family Musical, at Toronto's Elgin Theatre from November 25 until January 2.
It's become tradition for Petty to stage a farcical holiday show with Canadian Idols, Degrassi stars, and other mediocre Canadian celebs.
Both O'Neil and Epstein bring some stage cred to this production.
O'Neil was one of the best things about Dirty Dancing: The Musical, while Epstein toured with Spring Awakening last year.
Also in the cast of B&B: Scott Thompson of the Kids In The Hall, Jake Simons of the aforementioned Dirty Dancing, and Petty himself.
