Despite the fact that all anyone really wants from Justin Timberlake is some new music, he continues to insist he's an "actor."
And sadly, whoever started the (undeserved) "buzz" that he could be nominated for an Oscar for his role in the Social Network is really only encouraging him.
Well now comes the trailer for his next movie: Friends With Benefits. Thankfully, with this film we don't have to pretend he's a serious actor. He and Mila Kunis play, as the title suggests, friends with benefits.
This involves taking their clothes off, looking hot, and pretending to be emotionally detached from each other. And Timberlake pulls it off with the same smarmy cockiness he brought to the role of Napster guy in the Social Network, french guy in the Love Guru, and any other role he's ever played.
I'm not going to lie: JT looks good. And it's smart for producers to shoot him with as little clothing on as possible.
But is it enough to actually draw movie goers? Doubt it.
