The BB Houseguests are pummeled with paint and a giant paintbrush during the HoH endurance competition. Kathy is the first to fall (on the 'have-not' sword) - and no one really cares. Brendon eventually falls to the pain despite Rachel's "good job, Brendon - you can do it" encouragement. Ultimately, Ragan and Matt are left on the spinning paint can - again, as the last two people in an endurance competition - after a chat about the obvious alliances that could be made - Ragan falls due to the pain and Matt wins another HoH. Other members of the Brigade - you best decide to step up to the plate...soon.
Matt, being his ballsy self, chooses to open Pandora's Box and acquire the diamond PoV and provide Ragan with the opportunity to become the next sab. This PoV gives the ability to save himself or another houseguest and identify the new nominee. Ragan, later on was offered the opportunity to become the new sab, and takes on the new role with great stride. He's tasked with two difficult sabotages - (a) turn Brendon and Rachel against one another; and (b) create paranoia that the voted out person isn't leaving.
Ragan did not successfully turn Brendon and Rachel against one another but definitely stirred the pot with creating paranoia among houseguests re: the status and outcome of the eviction. As Brenchel cuddled and gushed in their bed the rest of the houseguests over-think the role and power the sab plays in the house.
Britney, Enzo, Kathy, Rachel, Brendon, Matt and Ragan - as a result of the Veto Ticket win from last week - all participate in the PoV competition. This week's PoV competition - a bowling competition entitled, Lover's Lane - was hosted by Jeff and Jordan from last season and Amazing Race fame. Both Rachel and Brendon are knocked off the block early on despite practicing till 3am the night before. Rachel is knocked out of the competition by Kathy and further threw salt on the wound by celebrating her win. Yes, celebrating her win. The salt was too much for Rachel to handle, resulting in her trying to (unsuccessfully) force Kathy to apologize.
Britney wins the PoV and has to listen to Brendon cutting her up in order to save Rachel from eviction - ignoring them both and seeking further allegiance from her other houseguests, she doesn't end up using the PoV. Ragged comment after ragged comment from Brendon directed at Britney and Ragan resulted in a 'neanderthal' counter remark from Ragan.
It seems as though the sab ability has helped Ragan grow some balls, seeing him step up to Brenchel and other members in the house when need be. Educator Ragan comes out asking Rachel not to raise her voice and using words like 'privy' to Brendon - I'm sure leading to great confusion among the two of them - Rachel doesn't know how to do that and Brendon's vocab doesn't extend that far.
Realizing that Rachel's ability to win competitions makes her a bigger threat than her Brenchel counterpart - the Brigade moves to hold to their original plan and vote to evict Rachel. Other houseguests follow suit and unanimously vote to evict her by a vote of 6-0 - a surprised Rachel walks out of the house and is informed by JC that this may not be the last time she sees the BB House this season. Britney would be gutted if she knew the extensions could make their way back into the house. Oh, JC - when will we learn that sometimes we need to "expect the (un)expected."
Brendon vows to avenge her eviction and, predictably, get evicted to the jury house. What people will do for shomantic love.
Predictions -
Britney or Ragan step up to the plate and win this week's HoH.
Matt is forced to used the Diamond Power of Veto to take himself or a Brigade member off the block.
Lane and Ragan become closer friends and learn more about one another.
Looking to the week ahead, we wonder what items Brendon will use to create a Rachel shrine in honour her memory, if Ragan's sab shenanigans will be revealed to the houseguests through a foiled sabotage and if Matt will use the diamond PoV.
