Lady Gaga donned no less than three eccentric looks over the course of last night's MTV Video Music Awards, with her first red carpet outfit being my hands-down favourite.
The singer arrived to the VMAs in an elaborate autumnal-coloured Alexander McQueen gown with a bejewelled collar, Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 armadillo heels and gold feathered Philip Tracey hat.
As extravagant as this look is, I also feel like it's one of Gaga's more "normal" looks, and I just love it. With the long white wig she looks like some sort of fairy tale queen.
And come on, anyone who can walk in shoes like that deserves credit for being fierce as hell.
