Brothers & Sisters' fifth season premieres Sunday September 26, and ABC has revealed its first sneak peak of the series which will leap forward a year from where the fourth season finale left off.
As suspected, the one-year leap forward gives the show's writers the opportunity to abandon storylines they were sick of by writing dialogue like "It's been a long year, and we've dealt with it."
Bye bye Scotty and Kevin's surrogacy dreams. Bye bye Narrow Lake. Bye bye mourning over Robert.
Luckily, the ever-annoying Justin has just returned home after a year abroad, and is laying his judgement all over everyone in his family for living their lives while he was gone.
Maybe it's just me, but something about the chemistry in this clip feels weird. I still don't support the unnecessary one-year fast forward.
