Kelly Clarkson grabs a hold of her new puppy Joplin on set of a photo shoot for her new album.
The original American Idol posted the photo on her Facebook page over the weekend.
On the right she's pictured with the shoot's crew, of which she wrote "An awesome team and a great shoot!"
After a number of delays, Kelly's new album is expected to be released in September, with her first single hitting radio in July.
Producer Rodney Jenkins recently revealed he worked with Kelly on a "crazy pop-rock" song called 'I Forgive You' for the album.
"The first person who came into my head to do it was Kelly Clarkson. So I sent it immediately and got a response that night," he says. "She came out to record, the energy was great and I just finished mixing it. She nailed it. It turned out great."
