Uh oh! Trouble for meth addict turned mom Jodie Sweetin!
The former Full House star is being sued by her ex-husband and father of her first child, Cody Herpin.
Seems Mr. Herpin is none too pleased about how he's portrayed in Sweetin's book UnSweetined, and is suing her for allegedly portraying him in a "false light."
In the suit, filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court, Herpin claims his former partner has depicted him as "lazy, unwilling to provide and support his family, uncaring, vindictive, unsupportive and disinterested" in Sweetin's pregnancy.
Now what would make him believe that? Except excerpts like the following . . . ?
"During the day, the baby was 100 percent my responsibility. Cody, meanwhile, played video games." Cody "would try to make me laugh because he knew it hurt when I laughed. That and video games were his two forms of entertainment.
To be honest, the sections about Herpin were the best part about UnSweetined. They're the only parts of the book that feel even a little bit honest, and don't rely on unnecessary Full House references to keep the reader's interest.
Whether or not they're exaggerated out of Sweetin's frustration is anybody's guess. But it'll be interesting to see where this suit goes.
Fans of Jodie, meanwhile, can look forward to her upcoming appearance on the Doctors, likely milking that (former?) meth addiction for all it's worth.
