The super-hilarious tragically-underrated Sarah Chalke is joining the super-hilarious tragically-underrated Cougar Town for a major arc in season three!
The former Scrubs star joins the cul de sac crew as Travis' photography professor and a love interest for one Mr. Bobby Cobb.
Fans of funny TV will know that Bill Lawrence is the creator and executive producer of both Scrubs and Cougar Town, so Sarah's casting is no coincidence. In fact, Christa Miller, Courteney Cox, Ken Jenkins, Zach Braff and Scott Foley have all appeared on both Scrubs and Cougar Town in varying capacities now. Mr. Lawrence likes to keep it in the family!
Ms. Chalke also recently signed a development/talent holding deal with 20th Century Fox Television, which will look to develop a new project for the actress come fall, or cast her in a series in progress.
And though Cougar Town doesn't have a premiere date just yet, Lawrence says we can expect it to change its name, possibly to one of the following options: Friends With Beverages, Sunshine State or The Drinking Age.
