Maria Kanellis Unleashes Sevin Sins

Maria Kanellis Sevin Sins

Fresh off the success of her five year run with the WWE and currently starring in the NBC hit show "Celebrity Apprentice," Maria Kanellis is embracing her virtues and vices by releasing her first EP "Sevin Sins" on Elytron Records and available now on iTunes.

Drawing upon her own "mortal sins," Maria combines her sexy and sultry lyrics with her sassy rock music. "I have had a couple great loves but one man was my muse and when I lost him I was left with a void that I filled with music," Maria says.  "Seven is my lucky number and Vin is my boyfriend's nickname.  Plus, I've always loved Dante's inferno. I love how everything you do effects you later. We were born with the desire to sin but society tells us we shouldn't. We do these sins in relationships because we are blind on love, trying to protect others, or are afraid of our own mortality. Sevin Sins are the things we try to avoid but sometimes our actions cause our own hell on earth."

The first single '"Fantasy" is quickly burning up the rock charts. "'Fantasy' was inspired by wanting to be the one for your one -- their Fantasy. It also describes the connection between two people that you know no matter what time, distance, people, jobs, or relationships nothing can take away that connection and that soul mate -- that Fantasy. You dream of them, you miss them, and you wonder what they would say about everything but it's just in your head."

Produced by Rene Garza Aldape and Alejandro Valencia, "Sevin Sins" includes original tracks such as "Alice in Wonderland," "Fantasy," "Change Your Mind" and "Sevin Sins," and Maria's sound is already being compared to Pat Benatar, Paramore and Gwen Stefani.

Maria Kanellis is quickly establishing herself as more than a triple threat as she can sing, dance, act and handle Donald Trump.  Perhaps best known as the most famous female wrestler and WWEÕs "Diva of the Year" for 2009, Maria can currently be seen every Sunday night on NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" playing for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and as a backstage correspondent for HDNet's MMA series "King of the Cage."
