Kim Cattrall Toronto-bound for Mirvish Production

Kim Cattrall is heading to Toronto later this year to star in a production of Private Lives, Mirvish announced yesterday.

Cattrall will play the role of Amanda, a woman who runs off with her ex-husband while on her honeymoon with her second hubby.

She originally played the role in a 2010 production in London's West End.

It will come to Toronto in September and October, before heading to New York.

Cattrall's return to the role was part of Mirvish's announcement of its 2011-2012 theatre season.

Musical revivals of Mary Poppins and Hair will hit Toronto over the next year, as will the Canadian premiere of War Horse, the puppet theatre hit from London's National Theatre.
