Kelly Clarkson: Inspired by Dre, Tina, Radiohead, Aretha

Kelly Clarkson took to Facebook Monday night to reveal even more details of her upcoming album with a string of status updates, which started with some love for Dr. Dre.

"I have been so tired of music lately," she wrote. "It just all sounds the same and artists are forced to record songs that sound like every other song or their music will get shelved. Finally, Dr. Dre comes out with something so great. His new song 'I need a doctor' feat Eminem and Skylar Grey is a fresh taste of what music has the capability of being. Thank you Dr. Dre! I'm inspired and loving every second of this song."

The Since You Been Gone singer went on to reveal she'll record the last song of her new record on February 25.

"This album was influenced by Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Radiohead and there's a little bit of a Country vibe/influence on a couple of songs," she continued.

"Oh and also one of my favorites on the new album is highly influenced by Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder. Eric Hutchinson wrote it ....the album is gonna be a great pop record! I can't wait for y'all to hear it!"

I can't wait either, Kelly! I hope your next status update is about a release date for the new album!
