The 27-year-old American-born, British-raised actor looks a little worse for wear in the still, which shows Peter Parker a little bruised as he carries his backpack down a New York City street.
Production on this latest incarnation of Spiderman is underway, with Marc Webb at the helm.
The cast also includes Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey, Rhys Ifans as the Lizard, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben, and Sally Field as Aunt May.
Expected release date is July 2012.
