On the cover: Jon Hamm, Jane Lynch for Entertainment Weekly

Mad Men's Jon Hamm and Glee's Jane Lynch are two of Entertainment Weekly's Entertainers of the year, as seen on newsstands now.

"2010: What a mathematically round, accessible number," says Hamm, who in the past year graced our TV screens on Mad Men, 30 Rock, SNL and a great opening number at the Emmys. "2010 was supposed to be 'the year we make contact' (wrong again, Arthur C. Clarke), but for me 2010 was just a tremendously exciting, rewarding year."

The overrated Taylor Swift takes EW's top spot as entertainer of the year, while Modern Family's Rico Rodriguez also gets his own cover.

Other stars on EW's list: James Franco, Ben Affleck, the kids of Modern Family, the male cast of the Good Wife, the cast of the Social Network, and Jackie's personal favourites the Smith children.

Ch-check out Rico and Taylor's covers after the jump.
