Since Madonna's one-year Sticky & Sweet Tour played its two final concerts on September 1 and 2 at HaYarkon Park in Tel Aviv, Israel,she is now a part of touring history. Not only is hers the most successful tour ever by a solo artist, according to Live Nation, it is also the second highest grossing tour of all time, after the Rolling Stones' 2005-2007 Bigger Bang Tour.
Madonna's performances are getting a lot of praise over here in Israel, she did a fantastic job, and what a great way to finish her tour!
So far she met with opposition leader Tzipi Livni, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She visited Jerusalem, flew over to Jordan to visit Petra, and went to other sacred religious places in Israel. Madonna will stay for the Jewish new year and Yom Kipur.
