Yesterday at approximately 1:15 pm, I saw Win Butler, lead singer of Grammy-award winning Arcade Fire, buy a sandwich and coffee at Montreal’s Café Nevé (corner of Rachel and Bullion).
He was sporting jeans and a green jacket, and seemed to have a troubling case of male pattern baldness that affects only the sides of his head. (In reality it may have been a sort of hipster Mohawk.)
I did not take a photo, as a move like that could seriously damage a person’s carefully cultivated hipster credibility. He must have felt my eyes on him anyways, because he turned around and looked at me through the window as he was walking away. “Heeeeey, I won’t bite, Win Butler,” I didn’t yell, as I refrained from waving goodbye flirtatiously.
He headed East. I didn’t trail him because I’m only interested in following men who kind of look like a less handsome version of this:
