2011 MTV Movie Awards winners


The Twilight Saga: Eclipse took top honours at tonight's MTV Movie Awards from L.A., where it was awarded the golden popcorn statue for Best Movie, while stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart took Best Male and Female Performance, respectively.

The duo also took Best Kiss, while Pattinson and costars Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel took Best Fight.

Harry Potter got a little love too, as Tom Felton was awarded the Best Villain trophy for his role as Draco Malfoy.

Meanwhile, Emma Stone took home Best Comedic Performance for Easy A.

A couple Canadians were also among the mix of award-winners, with Justin Bieber taking Best Jaw-Dropping Moment for his filmed concert spectacular, and Ellen Page taking Best Scared-As-Shit Performance for Inception.

Fourteen-year-old Kick-Ass star Chloe Grace Moretz had quite the night, winning Breakout Star as well as Biggest Bad-Ass Star.

Finally, Alexys Nycole Sanchez took home the award for Best Line From A Movie for saying "I want to get chocolate wasted" in the Adam Sander comedy Grown-Ups.

Yes, MTV is now awarding mere lines from movies. Take note, producers. Your movie coudl suck, but if you include a a memorable quip in its trailer you could soon have some golden popcorn on your hands.

Ensuring the attendance of at least one A-lister among the teeny-bopper faves, Reese Witherspoon was honoured during the show with an MTV Generations award for her years of service in the movie industry.
