Nelly Furtado - Mi Plan
WHILE HER SINGLE, “MANOS AL AIRE” CONTINUES TO LOCK DOWN THE #1 POSITION ON RADIO IN THE U.S. AND PUERTO RICO FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE WEEK…
NELLY FURTADO’S NEW ALBUM, MI PLAN IS RELEASED WORLDWIDE
Mi Plan is Nelly’s fourth studio album and first completely in Spanish.
Multi-awarded Canadian-Portuguese singer songwriter, Nelly Furtado releases her fourth studio album and first completely done in Spanish, Mi Plan, which will be available worldwide on CD, Digital and Mobile formats.
“Manos Al Aire”, the first single off the album, continues to lead radio charts around the world. In the US, the song is NUMBER ONE for the THIRD CONSECUTIVE WEEK on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, while continuing to dominate charts in Germany, Italy, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Spain and all of Central America.
Nelly Furtado has reached Platinum in 31 countries, and sold over 18 million copies of her past albums, “Whoa, Nelly”, “Folklore”, and “Loose”, and now has reinvented herself, while maintaining her musical trademark. After 10 years of making albums in English, and having collaborated in Spanish with artists such as Juanes, Wisin & Yandel and Calle 13, Nelly has accomplished her dream of recording an entire album fully in Spanish. This has been a natural step in her artistic evolution; Nelly does not consider Mi Plan a Latin album, but rather “music in Spanish for the world”.
Mi Plan is a collection of songs full of rhythm, feeling and sensations aimed to hit the heart and soul of her audience, despite language. Also found on the album are amazing collaborations with top artists from diverse countries and musical genres: Josh Groban (“Silencio”), Alejandro Fernández (“Sueños”), Juan Luis Guerra (“Como Lluvia”), Julieta Venegas and La Mala Rodríguez (“Bajo Otra Luz”), Buika (“Fuerte”), and Alex Cuba (Mi Plan).

New Linkin Park Album Coming Soon
Linkin Park is working on their new album now that Chester Bennington's side project "Dead By Sunrise" is finished and nearing its October 13th release.
The band would like to get to a sound simillar to "Hybrid Theory", but different. The hit single "New Divide" is in no way an indication as to what the new album will sound like.
Here's what Mike Shinoda has to say about the untitled new album:
"We mentally want to get back to [2000's "Hybrid Theory"] not because we want to sound like [that], because I don't think we do," Shinoda says of the forthcoming Linkin Park album, which they aim to release in the first half of 2010. "But we want to make this record a record with identity, hopefully not one you've heard before. One you can listen to and say, 'That's brand new... It's definitely Linkin Park, but it's definitely different.'"
